Card Overview
The Wheel of Fortune is the midpoint of the Major Arcana — Card X, the cosmic reminder that everything changes, nothing is permanent, and the only constant in life is the turning of the wheel itself. What rises must fall; what falls will rise again. This is not a threat but a promise: if you're at the bottom, the wheel is already turning upward.
This card represents the forces of destiny, karma, and the natural cycles of expansion and contraction that govern all of existence. The Wheel acknowledges something most of us resist: that we do not control everything. Some forces are larger than our individual will. The wisdom of the Wheel is learning to flow with these cycles rather than fighting them — riding the upswing with gratitude and the downswing with grace.
Upright & Reversed Meanings
A turning point in your favor — luck, opportunity, and the feeling that the universe is conspiring on your behalf. The Wheel upright says: this is your moment.
